Rigorous science, done with kindness, for the patients waiting on it

The science is hard. The people make it worth doing

Peptone's Product Engine is built at the interface of experimental physics, computation, and translational biology. Intrinsically disordered proteins do not sit still, and neither does the work. It takes structural biologists, computational scientists, and lab teams who trust each other to make progress on targets most of the field has written off.

We do that work in the open, with each other and for the people waiting on the other end of it.

Our values

How we hold ourselves to the work

  • Honest science

We report what the data say. When an experiment disagrees with a model, the model changes. Integrity is the point, not a slogan.

  • Kindness and good spirit

We assume good intent, share openly, and help each other through the work that does not go to plan. Talent matters. How you treat people matters more.

  • Compassion for patients

Every disordered target traces back to someone waiting for a therapy. That is why the standard is this high.

How the work actually happens

Progress here is measured in careful experiments and shared credit. We hire scientists who are generous with their time, rigorous with their data, and honest when something is not working yet.

Balance, and the outdoors

Our home in Ticino sits between the lakes and the Alps. Time outside is part of Peptone's founding DNA, and we protect the balance between deep work and the mountains on the doorstep. Good science needs rested, curious people.
